How to connect internet radio to modem?

I have a netgear wireless modem. My son was able to connect wirelessly with his laptop with my last isp. Now with plusnet he cannot connect. I have bought an internet radio and it does not find a network. Do I check with plusnet or netgear? Any suggestions?

This is the same router I used when I was with AOL. My son used his laptop wirelessly then.

Check the wireless settings on the router - the chances are they were changed when the ISP login details were changed and now it is either turned off or has a different ssid/password or some other problem.

    What about the WEP key?

Forget WEP - it's too easily bypassed. Switch to WPA or WPA2 instead and use whatever you want as the key. I suggest using some of the text generated by this page, but if you do that you'll probably need to write it down somewhere as there's no way you're going to remember it.

Have done as instructed and internet radio after scanning intimates no networks found. My son's laptop is not available at present as he lives some distance away. Any thoughts?

What's the make and model of the radio?

At this stage I would want to test the internet radio on another wireless network to rule out any problem with that end.
Does the radio have an option to connect via ethernet? If so, does it work OK when connected that way?

It is a Marks & Spencer MX200i. This is effectively a Reciva radio. There is an ethernet connection and I have just tried it out. Seems to be OK.

So the issue is the wireless connection. Try it on a different one.
