Hi There
Have spent ages looking thru magazines in WH Smith + reviews on internet , for a digital camera with super zoom . Have narrowed it down to Kodak P850 , Panasonic lumic FZ5/7 and Kodak 740 . Budget is £250 . Has to have SD card slot ( which they all have ) and image stabilisation - 740 hasn't but it is selling for £145 which is amazing for a 10x zoom camera . One review says great i.e Which Camera on P850 , one says rubbish i.e cnet / dpreview . Can anyone advise please , its driving me mad and I cannot choose .
Thanks

I've got an FZ5. I'm very pleased with it and it's great under the majority of conditions, my only gripe with it is that can be a bit rubbish under low light situations.
I was on a cruise last week, and a woman had a fuji camera simialar specs to my fz5 and it seemed to cope a lot better with photos inside the ship's casino (with no flash), mine did struggle quite a bit.
However, under good light, the optical stabaliser is ace and you couldn't imagine a 12x zoom photo taken without a tripod could come out that well.0
