He probably hasn't, but I'm sure he's heard of classics similar to Dark Side of the Moon as penned by Boyzone, Britney & The Cheeky Girls.

Razorlight are supporting The Who which is on Sunday 2nd so you won't see them at Mr Waters gig.

A note about VIP tickets for these Hyde Park events (This might save you some money as there's some being sold for silly money on ebay.) I went to Massive Attack at Wireless Festival on Friday night. I got VIP tickets free although you could buy them for about £100 on top of the ticket price.

Do not be fooled. With a VIP wristband you get access to a small enclosure to the left of the stage. Inside there were loads of people, way busier than outside. The two pathetic bars were 5 deep with people with 2 staff serving - don't even bother, it's quicker to go out to the main area and bring your beers back in. The barbecue you had to pay for and was queued way back. The toilets were like poratacabins rather than the usual portaloos but also had queues 10 deep out the doors. And that was it! Also, there was no re-entry after 9pm, ie, once the band were on, tough, we're closed. If I'd paid £100 for that rubbish I'd have been suicidal. They try to big it up as some sort of 'backstage' pass but it is so SO not.
    BE NICE - IT'S FREE!

I believe they do a a 'club experience' pass as well as a 'VIP' pass, the above sounds like the 'experience' setup. The VIP one includes preshow drinks and such albeit at twice the price

Yes, I think so. Wasn't he that guy who wrote some album that was regarded as the best ever and spent 260 weeks on the chart?

Have you heard of Elvis Presley or The Beatles?

    Excuse me!
For your information, I know who pink floyd are, and like a few of their songs but forgive me for not knowing the name of a man who hasn't been in the public eye for around 30 years! I'm only 19!

I have an extremely varied taste in music for a 19 year old. Love old music as well as modern. Big fan of blondie, gary numan, david bowie, kate bush, joy division, kinks, queen, beatles, suzanne vega etc.. As well as experimental music (ie bjork, massive attack, rufus wainwright etc..)

I find it pretty offensive that you judge my music tastes by not knowing who roger waters is!

    (Rant over.)

Had to get that out my system. Now tell me, how many 19 year olds know who pink floyd are, like their music, and have every cd every recorded by Kate bush? :)

Well DazzaMc I think you have extremely good musical taste judging from your avatar, but will I see you at the Gogol Bordello gig at Koko next week?

Sorry, was supposed to be more lighthearted than it sounded. I take it you know the Kate Bush / Pink Floyd connection then :)

I've got most of her stuff too including the Red Shoes double single with the extended Cloudbusting on it. But then again, if you reverse the digits of your age and divide by two you get mine ;)
    Can I help?

Why, of course! Who isn't? Lol.

Haven't a clue who they are to be honest. I'm just about to have a listen on itunes though!

OK, you are forgiven. I'm just very defensive about my taste in music. I have to be, being 19 and a huge kate bush and bjork fan. Doesn't go down well with friends :)

Yeah the Pink floyd connection is quite cool. I can hear slight echoes of pink floyd's stuff (that pun wasn't intended) in her music.

I got into her about a year ago, a friend kindly recorded her records onto tape for me so I could get a taster. Then bought a couple of cds before investing in "This woman's work" the box set for £50!

Haven't even listened to it all yet.

You got "aerial" yet? Beautiful album. Very underrated.
