There are so many websites and stores which sell desktop PCs that I don't know which to choose.
Could you pls give some of the names that you trust, in terms of price and customer services?
It seems to me that Currys or PC World don't have competitive prices these days.
My sincere thanks,

website - pcspecialist.co.uk
store - John Lewis
I have bought desktop PCs from both and were excellent on customer service0 -
parts ordered from ebuyer.com; amazon.co.uk or if i'm struggling to find them in stock perhaps other places like overclockers or dabs....
self build on the dining table
then I pop on to alienware and see how many £££s more i'd have had to pay for the same machine which they'd have taken weeks to build (last time was a £1100 saving

www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk and www.advancetec.co.uk are supposed to be OK but I haven't bought from them myself.
The last complete system I bought was from www.novatech.co.uk many years ago. They've always been reliable when I've bought parts as well. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Bought my desktop from Overclockers.co.uk. Had a problem with the hard drive and they sorted it out quickly.
Ebuyer.com are good.(Bought my netbook from them)I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -

Thank you for all your replies. I cannot build my own, so want to buy a decent brand.
I have used three successive Dell laptops, so I want to change for a fresh air. Right now, my options are either Acer or Asus.
What do you think of these two brands?0 -

if i had choice of those 2 i would go for asus every time not that acer arent any good but asus stuff lasts longer and for my money is better built it just always works.
btw what is the budget and i take it your after desktop as the thread title sugest or is it a lappy0 -
My first two were Dell and both gave good service. This laptop which is one year old is a Sony and seems very reliable. Anything that goes wrong is usually my fault
. I bought the laptop from John Lewis, a shop I am growing to like very much. 0
