Hi there,
After taking all your good adivce I have now decided not to buy a desktop from argos after all (silly me didn't notice it was only vista os) I would like your quick advice on this configuration from pcspecialist. Will be used for music recording and video editing as well as general stuff. Price of this pc including vat and delivery is £620

I know there is no monitor I will buy that separately, and as I don't intend to buy a new computer every 3 years or so I want a decent computer tower now.
Please have a look and if you see anything in the pcspecialist configurator please let me know.

looks good, good price considering it has the newer ddr3 memory. You could probably self build cheaper but not an awful lot cheaper.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
