laptop soooo slowwww - hijack this log

Hiya,

My laptop is getting sooo slow, so I've read through various threads on here to get help.

I've run Malwarebytes and it found no infections at all, which is good news I hope!!!!

So, I've just run Hijackthis and this is the log I got, can anyone advise what I should do now? - edit - just noticed it says "the best thing to do is "AnalyzeThis" and show the log to knowledgable people" should I do this first?

You say I've got tons of stuff running, when I did the hijack scan I had windows live messenger and explorer (money saving expert site) open, nothing else. Is my problem likely to be that I've got loads going on without me knowing?

So it's not that my computer is sending spam around the world whilst I'm browsing the MSE forum as I was worrying!!!

Do you think that I've got stuff running that doesn't need to be and that I'm not aware of? Whats the best way of finding this out?

How much RAM do you have and what operating system? (XP or whatever)

I have Sony Viao VGN-FS series, Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.70GHz 504 MB of RAM.

It runs windows XP

thats why is so slow, I'd update it to at least 1 gb Ram

(assuming your model laptop as there are many)

it seems to have 2 slots so this would slot into the 2nd slot giving you a total of 1.5 gb ram

make sure you choose the correct model
