I wrote to my bank about my loan PPI and my credit card PPI which I had not even asked for, their response was negative on both, I then instructed a company to try and get my PPI back, they wrote to the bank, who delayed response, untill my 6 months window to the ombudsman had gone, and now the company have closed my file, is there anything else I can do, as the amount owed could be in the 1000's ??

Hi and welcome.
So sorry to hear this and how annoying for you.
You could always ask the FOS to consider this with the reasons you have, give them a call and see what they have to say, its not your fault if this company delayed you.

That's the thing with these claims companies, be careful of them.;)
Hopefully the FOS will consider taking this on for you, please let us know, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thank you for your fast response, I have emailed the FOS using your link, just waiting a reply, I'll let you know how I get on.0

I doubt that FOS would consider just because a claims company delayed the claim. I know this sounds a little harsh but FOS actually advises against using claims companies and encourages you to do this for yourself. I would try and perhaps complain to the company again and get another final response if you can. You can always ask the FOS but if they accept one complaint in this manner than they should accept all of them. These claims companies need closing down that do this to people.0

i'm new to all this, but the banks have really annoyed me over this ppi lark.
i'm sure someone may have the answer to my suggestion and whether it will work, it really depends on whether or not you put down all the reasons for the mis-selling on your original claim, if you haven't can anyone advise whether it is possible to submit a second claim for the same policy for a different reason. just a thought, and i'm sure someone will be able to advise if this can or can not be done.
that is of course if the FOS can not help with the original claim.I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free0 -
