Martin Lewis is always giving us advice on how to force companies to do things.

How about giving us advice on how to remove ourselves from any part of MoneySupermarket.com

I hereby withdraw any permission Martin might have implied he gave MoneySupermarket.com to use any of my data. Further more, I do not wish ANY data about me, or any of my posts etc to be held on any computer system held by MoneySupermarket.com or any business it has any commercial interests in.

    I think the word 'usually' in the T&Cs you quoted might be important...

    This happened to me the first time I ordered a couple of years ago. I was furious as they told me about a week before christmas that it was out of stock. When I rang them they said I would have to go to a shop to buy it. I pointed out that that was why I had ordered online - to avoid having to go to shops. I vowed never to use them again but caved in this year (they were cheapest and I didn't want to cut off my nose to spite my face) and had no problems at all. But I will be wary of ordering anything I'm desperate for by a particular date!

    and the 'usually' seems to refer to how long the postage takes not to when things will be despatched. I agree with OP that they shouldn't say things are in stock when they aren't!
