There's one fairly ancient thread on here, but I thought best to start a new one. Slightly embarrassing admitting I occasionally watch them, but I thought I'd just mention that there are bargains to be had (if you're careful and check it out). P & P is high (£7.99), so you have to factor that in. However, I bought 5 boxes of children's craft sets off it the other day, and including the P & P, cost me £17.98. I'd looked up the Argos catalogue beforehand to give me a rough guide, and most of the sets there seemed to be about £4.99, so I reckoned I wouldn't be losing anything. Anyhow, they arrived within 3 working days, and I've checked online now I know the full names of the sets, and the cheapest I could find any of them was £8.99, so I'm well chuffed - I've got nearly 45 quids' worth of sets for under £18.

I've bought stuff off there before, and it wasn't as good quality as they make it seem on the show! Although highly addictive and some bargains to be had, 'specially when it plummets to 1 quid!0

I Bought 2 sets of disney princess towels (bath, hand and flannel) and also 2 disney beach towels in the set.. dropped at £11.49, plus £7.99 postage.
In rosebys they sell the hand, bath and flannel set for £20.. so got a real bargain there !!Debt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0 -
I once bought a regatta coat for my dad from Price-drop - one of those with a detachable fleece. I knew they cost approx £50 in shops but got it for £30 (incl. postage & phone call.) However, I have not ordered anything from them since because of their really high postage charges and I assumed that if I wanted 2 of the same item I would have to ring twice and pay 2 lots of postage. I have had a bargain but most of the time find myself shouting at the telly that I can buy that item cheaper elsewhere! lol
