I have several websites for adsense revenue, and find myself writing many articles for SEO purposes. I suspect I could write as a service to others, but I'm not sure which would pay better in the long run. With adsense, one article can generate many visits and clicks and a recurring income.

    I'd do both!

I think a good overall sense of what works as per online earnings can help. Affiliate marketing can really help as you earn a commission, but I would suggest signing up only to those affiliates ( retailers or sales/services ) that are relevant otherwise you can risk devaluing your website.

cally6008 I'm up for offers. Going to take it down tomorrow, I get work without it and it lets me down. Spend far too much time working for everyone else. Shoemaker

  • I'm a medical writer looking to supplement my income but need to set myself up as a freelancer first. Any links on this site as to how to do that? Any forums here related to setting up your own business?

As a medical writer, you should find plenty of opportunities. I'd recommend perusing the following sites for information:

  • if you have good writing skills then it is better to make use of opportunities available in tender writing. All the business firms look for people who have good writing skills so that they can propose the companies business idea in a effective manner.

I think find your niche and expand on it so you can offer a number of services and aren't completely limited. Once you build up, you can target one thing - such as tenders - when you know you can get enough work from your sources
