if you service your egg card via egg.com and have registered there should be an option within your credit card account screen0

ignore my message ..
I have found it now .. apologies :-/0 -
I think Egg have a message saying they won't increase the credit limit within three months of opening the account. If you go ahead let us know how you get on.Nice to save.0

I've just tried to up my credit limit by an extra £2k amd got rejected. Egg told me they review my credit limit every 6 mths anyways but I just can't wait. Maybe I give it another go two months down the line.Olympic 2007 challenge Started 9 Jan 2007[strike]Aim Silver 2007.00[/strike] Aim Gold 3007.00 Achieved so far:782

Slow down folks! If Egg have chosen to give you an initial limit of say £xK, unless your circumstances have radically altered between the time you applied for the card and when you received it, my intuition tells me that £xK is, from their perspective, a reasonable figure for your situation at the present time. They have made a decision and are unlikely to change it 10 days later.

Although interestingly I did this with a new Virgin card and managed to request a £5k increase from a very helpful call centre person. I guess you can always ask!0

I managed to increase my credit limit on line although hubby was declined. I want to increase so I can do a larger BT to stick in savings on anniversary offer. We will have to try with hubbies account later on, his anniversary offer isn't until April.:cool:Love to save & love a bargain0

I managed to get my limit doubled by writing to:
Credit Approvals
Egg
Pride Park
Riverside Road
Derby
DE99 3GG
with a covering letter, enclosing 3 months bank statements showing salary, plus statements of assets, showing isas etc.
I also enclosed a statement from mint and said I was about to close this account and wanted to transfer the balance and would they match the limit.0
