Hi,
My daughters hair straighteners have burned out. She wants GHD ones but I don't actually know what that stands for and they are way too expensive, can anyone recommend any which are similar but a decent affordable price?

If you do a search for straighteners on here u will see most of it's by me!....
i have the most unmanageable hair ever, and toni and guy backed that up!
ive tried almost every make, thinking, i cant afford ghd, surely theres something else as good, but there isnt-once you get ghd youll be amazed at the difference. i dont know where you live but i got mine from international stock in bham for £50. however, if your daughter has normal hair, any of the good makes should be adequate; i need ghd as no other straightener does anything to my hair at all.Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0 -

I second GHD hair straighteners too.
I was advised to go straight (forgive the pun) for these by my hairdresser after the first time I had my hair straightened. She said most people try others then get the GHD ones and wonder why they had not got them first.
I bought mine after a search on the internet, for £70 about a year ago.0 -
i agree that GHDs are the best. I had wasted far too much money on cheaper straighteners that didnt work nearly as well
once you have had GHDs there is no going back!! worth saving up for and searching for the best deal you can get!0 -

I agree, GHDs are the only ones you should consider.

GHDs are fab! I think hqhair as mentioned above work out the cheapest, particularly if you go through a cashback site first like quidco or pigsback!
