however, we as a consumer have no choice but to accept it. therefore, by taking away the choice of the consumer, it is a government-enforced monopoly.

I don't think anyone would mind if it was a company with decent customer service, and whose prices reflect the fact that people don't have a choice. as it stands, BT just take the p**s because no-one else HAS to supply lines.

other provdiers like talk talk tesco etc have to buy lines and exchange space, if bt is the only person operating from your local exchange then the competitors dont believe they can make a profit from that exchange, so BT is your only choice.
Its ok complaining about them having the monopoly but its only BT renewing lines and upgrading services i dont see any talk talk engineers out there getting the work done, (yes they pay for it indirectly)
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

When did you pay your october invoice?

BT allow 14 days. If you breached this then its your own fault. If you insist on pushing the payment terms to the limits you will get caught out.
  • Payed on time but their billing department have not allocated payment. So I understand what you say but I do not accept your opinion as relevant to my circumstance as it is Bt that have not followed the correct procedures and you clearly believe that I have done something wrong. Which I find annoying and somewhat arogant quite frankly. If on the other hand I have misinterpretted your post then please accept my apology.
