? re Travelodges in London

Hi everyone

I am hoping to grab a bargain tomorrow for a mid week break for the family in London. We want to go and see the sights in the Summer hols but I have no idea which hotel would be the best. Can anyone recommend one? Ideally we'll need parking so we can travel down by car. Any recommendations most grateful

Parking? In central London? Hahaha - you're funny.

If you really want to drive down, and be able to park, then you'll need to get a Travelodge on the outskirts and get the tube in. Parking of any sort in central London is likely to cost you about £50 a day, plus there's the congestion charge.

I suggest that by the time you've considered parking, con charge, petrol, tube travel that getting the train down will prob be cheaper.

The Travelodges around Heathrow are all churning out £9 a night rooms in the sale, do that and get the train/tube into London if you want to be in the city centre.

croydon is on the £9 a day deal and you can get in to london fairly easily
