Ravenheat boiler problem

OK, so I'm in a sticky situation. I took out the Pump from my Ravenheat CSI Low 120 to replace it. It came out easily. The only problem is that some of the surrounding big bolts seem impossible to line up in order to tighten. No matter what angle I go for the bolts will not screw onto its connection. Any advice?

Many, I'm sure, will say get a plumber which I'm starting to believe is inevitable but if there's any good advice before this I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Not a good position to be in at 10 o'clock at night but you know that already. The only suggestion that I have TBH is perseverance. They came out - they must go back in again.

Did you try locating them with the pump out?

    Cheers

Not a stupid question at all. Its either that or the pipes have moved due to temperature/damage.

    Hi

I would wonder why you need a replacement pump on a relatively new boiler with a 3 year guarantee ?
You must have moved some pipework around for them to not line up again.Or you do indeed have the wrong pump.
There are those that have said on quite a few occasions that plumbing/heating 'ain't rocket science' maybe one of them can help:confused:

Which boiler is it, there are a few 120 variants?
Is the the Ravenheat pump with the pipe on it that bends through 90 degrees?
It's not unknown for the wrong pump to be supplied, so check them side by side, and post back up.
To get better access, have you removed the lower casing and dropped the front electrical panel?
If you can post a few pictures it'll help.

On another forum the pump seems to have magically become the diverter valve. ;)

Had to remove quite a few other bolts in order to get some movement but i put it all back together again. Now i'm just waiting for the new pump to arrive (in the cold!). Ravenheat spare parts aren't easy to locate. Anyone got any views on ravenheat combi boilers?
