huge praise for the 470 bus route

tonight we were allowed to leave work early if we wanted because of the weather. i got on the 470 bus and we sat in traffic caused by idiots who dont know how to drive in snow.

an hour to get home, usually takes 15 mins.

fair play to the driver. the local bus garage seemed to be stopping their busses at sutton green but this driver soldiered on off of the mai9n road taking the back streets as usual. he lost it at one point on the hill but managed to get traction again somehow and got me home in one piece.

:T

huge applause for him i told him he was an absolute star. especially as he was given the option to abandon by 'control' when he radioed them but he soldiered on.

i will be ringing the bus company tomorrow to praise him wish i got his name but know the bus time from my departure.

well done that man.

Whilst I would ring too to say thanks, think twice.

It may be that as he disobeyed head quarters, therefore he may not have been insured for the journey.

It therefore may cause him problems. Could be wrong though.
