Why can't the people on here just answer the OP question instead of commenting on spelling which from my understanding the OP didn't say "I am going to write a short paragraph and can you sort it for me" slightly pathetic but assuming everybody has degrees..
The OP's question HAS been answered – perhaps you should re-read the thread?!

BTW it's not your spelling I'd be concerned about – it's your grammar. The latter part of your sentence makes absolutely no sense! Did you press 'submit reply' before you'd finished typing?
If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.

Did you type that to feel of importance? Like I was saying before you took your head out your a××,the people on here are slightly pathetic with there spelling and grammer checks but I am assuming they have degrees but judging by the way that you talk I can safely say no.By the way (-) isn't used as a comma so please use (,) when breaking up sentences.A 5-7 year old textbook should teach this but don't worry might be quite advance for you.It has pictures and everything so all will be well.

FYI, it's an em dash and it wasn't being used in place of a comma!

    Oh my.

kevin2oo9, it's probably best to get your own spelling and "grammer" in check before you decide to get on your soap-box. Actually, scrap that, does your keyboard even have a space bar?

Agreed that pointing out mistakes is generally quite petty - but do you not see the humour in a prospective teacher spelling through as threw (twice)?

What's a degree got to do with it? Everyone who's completed primary school should be able to distinguish between "through" and "threw".

The OP's question was answered. Quite helpfully, I think...though he/she doesn't appear to have been back to this thread.

Not a day goes by when you don't see a post being examined by a grammar and spellchecking genius like yourselves. As far as I can see there are spaces between words so I don't see your point. Thanks for underlining my mistakes though,I will try to learn from it and be a better person because of it. Think I might be as sad as you guys and go through every post looking to see if someones put their instead of there.Imagining the horror now is too hard to envisage lol

No spaces between your sentences, for some reason. And that's not to be petty either...it's true ;)

Just to clarify, if studying at least 50% of a full time course, the OP can receive a grant of £260 plus tuition fees paid, but they cannot apply for this until they have been enrolled for two weeks as the uni has to confirm that they actually attend.

It's not the same as full time funding, where you can apply after receiving the offer.

If you are desperate OP, you can ask your uni for a short term loan until the grant comes through.

Tbh though, it is better to use the library, but you do have to be organised.

Check ahead and reserve any books you need and try and get the reading list books asap.

Also, look at your assignment asap and start researching early so you can recall books, or use the inter-library loan system if need be.

It's really not necessary to buy all the books on your reading list.

I'm on an access course in Scotland and just remembered, we had a guy on our course last year who was on some kind of benefit - no idea what, but he was done by the Benefits Office for claiming the wrong type of benefits, and has to negotiate to drop some of his classes. he hadn't turned up for college this week so I'm assuming he's been pulled out of the course as he was told he was able to work, despite him saying his dyslexia made it impossible for him to get a job!

If your uni has an emergency fund you could always try applying for that. Alternatively, ebay anything you have?

I buy all the books on my reading lists, and more, but then I want to be a librarian so books are more important to me than food! However, I play around a lot on the internet as research for my courses, one topic today was democracy, by spending an hour or so googling and looking on different sites you can get a lot of information - obvious, just don't use wikipedia!
