Has anyone had problems getting a refund from Dell!!!!!!! I ordered an XPS from them in November and i should have recieved it on the 2nd of December then the 9th followed by the 16th,23rd and then the 6th January 2010
I was fuming and phoned there useless customer service and was given some lame excuse for the delay, when i re-checked the status of my order i found that THEY had cancelled my order and not bothered to inform me, Iasked for a refund and was then told that i had to email them my bank statement to prove it had gone out of my account, i refused and thold the woman no way was i letting them have my bank details, suddenlt she changed her mind and said it was ok she didnt need them hmmmmmmmm very dodgy i thought
Well 2 weeks later i am still waiting for my money back and was wondering does anyone know if because of there delay in refunding me am i entitled to claim money from them for each day that goes by without the money being refunded?????????
Dell can forget me ordering from them again but Apple can gladly have my money, no problems with there customer service at all

The customer service has always been brilliant for me. I guess they may have been overwhelmed with christmas orders.0

If you're ordering a high end PC you really should be self building.... much cheaper and you'll get it alot faster too

What's Christmas got to do with unceremonially canceling the order??The customer service has always been brilliant for me. I guess they may have been overwhelmed with christmas orders.
Letting them get away (or giving such excuses) with this sort of behaviour is what has wrecked customer service in this countryDo I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -
what really concerns me is the fact it only took 5mins for the money to go out of my account yet it is taking them over 2 weeks to refund it and also why would i have to send my bank details to some woman in india!!!!!! its funny when i refused she said she had found the transaction
instead of a flash advertising campaign on how good dell pcs are how about investing in customer service and launching an add campaign for that ? its amazing how may stories you can find on the internet on how poor it is0 -
Dell are making staff redundant,
We've had terrible problems in the last couple of months as people are re-aligned and have no idea what they are doing. (Corporate Buyer)0
