PPI Help

Hi

I would be really grateful for some help as i'm a little confused!

I have been reading this site recently and have read about PPI claims and then remembered being misold PPI on a loan we took out with Paragaon (via Click Finance) as they said we HAD to take out the ppi insureance otherwise we wouldn't get the loan.

I have been and looked thorugh my loan documents and have noticed that THEY had crossed the box for single life cover even though the loan was joint in both mine and my husbands name.

My husband did earn more money than me when taking the loan but surely if the secured loan was in both of our names, we should have both been insured? Am I able to make a claim on these grounds?

Thanks

    Hi there

May I ask what year you taken this out with Click Finance?

The reason I ask is because back in 2004, these were the brokers who arranged our loan, the lender was Endeavour, but we had to pursue though the broker, if its the same Click Finance as we used then they have dissolved, but they do have other Click loan businesses as well.

If you have any paperwork, check this out if you can.

If of course its a Click Business still running then you do pursue through these.

In my case, as the broker dissolved, I have gone the insurer direction who were Hamilton Insurers, and the FOS have accepted taking this one for us.

For more on reclaiming, check the guidelines here:

This is very useful, and please post up for help anytime.;)

    Hi

I have all the original paperwork from the broker and they were just called Click Finance (Victoria House, 23-27 South Street, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7QU).

I actually started this claim in Jan 2008! and remember getting some kind of a letter back stating that they have dissolved but then gave up (and kind find that actual letter now).

So who do I persue this with now then? the loan was with Paragon and I don't know who the insurance was from? All help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
