Overflow dripping

Hi the overflow pipe is dripping at the back of the house i believe it will be something to do with the toilet.Could someone help and tell me what needs doing.Thanks for any help

remove the lid from the toilet and at the end of the ballcock is a plastic nut, this just needs adjusting so it stops more water than necessary filling up the tank0

No good just adjusting the water level, as it will not flush.
You will have to replace the washer.A thankyou is payment enough .0
