The Time Traveler's Wife book - pages missing!

Hey there everyone, I do apologise if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't quite sure where to put it as I guess it's in part a warning and in part a query.
I bought a copy of The Time Traveler's Wife the other day from HMV and was really getting into it, so imagine my anger when I got to page 58 and found that the next page was 107! I searched all through the book and the pages aren't printed elsewhere, nor are there any other missing pages, just these 49. Annoyingly the book, when flicking through it or holding it, gives away no signs of this so I assume that it is a printing error rather than a bunch of pages having somehow fallen out of the book, which leads me to think this problem is probably not confined to just my copy.
I haven't had a chance to go back to HMV yet, I will probably do this at the weekend. I looked in the WHSmiths at London Bridge today as I thought I'd seen it there before Christmas. I couldn't find it (it's a very small store) so I don't know whether it's not there because of this reason or for others. Anyway, because of this I haven't had a chance to look at another copy of the book to determine whether this is a widespread problem.
So if you're planning on buying this book any time soon I would say have a flick through first to make sure all the pages are there! I was also wondering if anyone has bought this book recently and had the same problem or has had a complete copy? I would just like to know so I can determine how likely it is I'll be able to find a complete copy, I really want to finish the book!
The copy of the book I bought was published by Vintage in paperback with the ISBN of 9780099464464.

OMG!! You're missing the most important part of the book!!
a. The time traveller battles with aliens that attempt to take over the earth.
b. The wife suffers an allergic reaction to peanuts when she visits her local for a pint and dies (very sad).
c. Dr Who shows up and whilst battling the aliens too, goes back in time to the local and stops the wife eating said afore mentioned peanut. He does this by telling her they aren't good for her and gives her a knowing wink.
d. Dr Who whisks them both off to planet Ood and reunites them in a very touching moment and after they have a steamy sex session, returns them to earth and the book carries on as normal.0 -
Could this be some clever sub plot?
An alternative reading experience?
Something to meditate on?0 -
the book is by no means a 'clever' book.0

It happens with a lot of books. Some companies will usually just post another one out to you straight away.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
don't worry, you don't miss much - think of all the time you've gained cos you don't have to read it'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

I think the OP is missing pages 58 to 1060 -
I have a copy of The Magic Faraway Tree that I got when I was about 12 that had some transposed pages in it, the book came with a wee slip that explained two pages had been printed in the wrong order. The funny thing was that the misprint lead to a sentence in the book reading something along the lines of:
"Saucepan man looked funny covered in pans and F*nny"0 -
It's probably a binding error where bundles of pages are bound together.
Just feel sorry for the poor sod who got the duplicate bundle in their copy- they get to page 107 then they get a feeling of deja-vu0
