we have invested in the samsonite pop-up travel cot and it is the best bit of baby equipment we have bought, it is quite expensive ( think we paid 45 inc postage from an internet retailor). but should last for ages and weighs i think about 4kg. just come back from flying to alicante with it tucked into my suitcase, no problems at all.
