Samsung NC20 RAM
catch22
Hello, I am awaiting delivery of a Samsung NC20 Netbook and was looking at upgrading the RAM (667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM) to 2GB. I can't seem to find it for less than £38. Does anyone know somewhere cheaper please?
Must be ages since I needed new RAM, I remember the times when one would be advised, 'a cheap way of making your computer/laptop better is to add more RAM' expensive these days...

How about this one on ebay, could be worth putting a low offer in?

It is a cheap way of upgrading if you have a desktop!

£35.14 at ebuyer plus p&p

Thanks, but I have a thing about used things. I just rechecked Amazon and one of the third party shops sells it for £32.catch220 -
Shame it only has one memory slot, maybe you can sell the 1 Gb card. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

You think £38-odd for 2 GB of RAM is expensive? You clearly don't go back to the times when a memory card with surface-mounted, and hand-inserted, memory chips cost many hundreds of pounds - for 256 kB...I remember the times when one would be advised, 'a cheap way of making your computer/laptop better is to add more RAM' expensive these days...0
