If you are thinking of purchasing a second hand computer DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I foolishly ordered a computer before Christmas and although I thoroughly researched the computer I very stupidly did not research the company.
I ordered on 11th December and this was acknowledged, after Christmas having had no communication I emailed asking what had happened to my order and received no reply. I emailed again on Monday requesting information, stating that I felt I had given due allowance for post, weather, holidays and etc.
On still not receiving a reply I phoned today and was told that the factory had burned down and that I would be on a list for repayment but was given no date. They said that all the equipment etc had been lost in the fire and they were only just getting round to letting people know.
I accepted that this was plausible but feeling suspicious googled in the name and found Yahoo had warnings from customers going back over a very long time. Too late for me but be warned. I would post a link to the Yahoo review site but unfortunately do not have the expertise.

On 17th November '09, I also ordered a laptop from Technology Recycling Solutions, they took the payment from my bank account but the computer never arrived. When I contacted them I was told that they could not accept my bank card as it is registered abroad even though they had already taken my money. They then said they were unable to give me a refund and would not be sending the laptop. After much arguing on the phone they agreed that they would indeed refund me but it could take up to 30 days. When I next contacted them I was told they had had a fire and lost everything (how convenient) and would sort out the refund as soon as possible. I have e-mailed them 4 times in the last two weeks but have had no reply. So be warned, this certainly looks like a con.0
