It's basically a PB branded Acer Aspire 1410. Not bad, but if you can afford it I suggest you get the next model up instead.0

HI
Thanks for your advice.
I was kind of hoping £350 Max budget as I will mainly use it while I am away and not much after that.
The PB has 3GB ram compared with the 1410 only having 2GB
Do you know anything about the processor?
Cheers0 -
Oddly enough the only real difference between the two processors is the amount of cache bolted on - 2MB as opposed to 1MB. Either way, £350 doesn't get you very far in the world of CULV. Have you considered getting a netbook?0

OP it looks like you are after a "throw away" laptop to use for 4 months and then put away?
If thats the case then, if the item you have seen will do what you want, go for it. Another alternative could be a "pre loved" or second hand laptop. At times any combination of my spelling, grammar or punctuation may be incorrect. Please do not pick me up for this as, after all, it is only an internet forum.0
