Goods bought via internet are faulty - cannot get in touch with company

Hi everyone,

I could really do with a bit of advice....

I bought some gaming headphones for my partner for Christmas and they have turned out to be faulty. The microphone connection is poor and crackles when in use.

As soon as we found the fault I tried to phone the company (discount discs . co . uk) but there was no answer, just a message saying that they are unavailable and an email address to email... I emailed the email address informing them of the faulty product and asked if we could have an exchange... I have had no response.

I have tried phoning them everyday, at different times of the day and I still get no reply. I have sent them 3 emails in total and have opened up a disputre through paypal as thats how i paid for the goods.

I just want to know where I stand if they never get in touch? is there some larger organisation i can turn to to complain? I really dont know what to do...... if the item was just for a few quid, id write it off and put it down to experience - not to buy from companies i dont know, but they were quite expensive.

Any comments, or advice is welcome.

Thanks :o
