Praise for service in GAME

I was given some Game vouchers by my friends who have all clubbed together so I can buy myself a PS3 and a couple of games as i'm still stuck in the house quite a lot.

I knew the basics about the PS3's but didn't know which was the best one to get for the vouchers I had been given.

I told the assistant what I was looking for but didn't know some of the information about them such as did it need an internet extension like the Xbox 360 etc. She explained everything to me and told me which she thought was the best one to get. I told her that I would also be buying Fifa 10 to play on it so she told me to wait and went off in the back, then came back and told me there was a package in the back that I could put Fifa 10 with as a free game and it was the same model and price as the one she showed me originally.

The girl who advised and served me was so friendly and helpful which isn't to common in shops these days so a big thumbs up for the customer service I received at Game.

Can I suggest that if you have a minute you drop an email/letter to the store telling them your praise?

I work as an area manager in retail and people are very quick (quite rightly so) to write complaints but it is very very rare for us to get commendations for staff. I actually reward any staff in my stores that get a good letter/email/card etc so although some may say the sales assistant was only doing her job, it would be really nice for her and her boss to hear! :j

I've already done it Kez. I complained to Asda about the state of their store and the service I received recently and got a nice reply from them telling me that my comments will be passed to the store manager as part of a performance review so I hope Game do the same and pass the comments on.
