Hi,
Just saw this desktop at argos. I thought a good price for a quad processor. Will be used for some light gamplay, some video editing and music making.

£150 less and only major differences is less GFX memory which would be upgradable for £80;) and a better processor!
Also 3 year guarantee.
Otherwise its a good pc for an average price.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
Simple: Overpriced - Not even a monitor0

Have to agree the Aldi PC looks good value for money. But someone posted they might be difficult to get hold of due to short supplies. If you were to buy all the components individually in this country, you could not buy them for the price Aldi are selling the complete PC for!
The Argos PC has a slightly better graphics card that should be better for games. Nvidia certainly do not make it easy to decipher what you're getting but the GT120 is what I would say is a low midrange card (it's a die shrink of the 9500GT) whereas the GT210 is definitely a low end card. It also has a blu ray drive that the Aldi PC lacks. If you wanted to buy a BD-ROM drive they are about £60+ at the moment.0 -

ok so £60 on the Bluray drive, £70 on a better graphics card and you have a better pc for less money.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
