    Any brand will do.

Just check what format it takes, some will only accept SD cards, some will accept the larger capacity SDHC cards.

Personally I'd order one from https://www.7dayshop.co.uk or https://www.mymemory.co.uk

Virtually all digital cameras have a tiny internal memory and need a larger card to work properly.

Sandisk are generally a good, reliable brand. But anything should do.

In some shops i find Sd cards are a t a premium (due to their many applications) and i find it cheaper to buy the equivalent size Micro SD card (with sd adaptor) and use that card in the adaptor for whatever use. So you knock of the premium price and have 2 cards in one.

Just a thought. May not be the case in your town.

    Feel free.

Depends on the camera. Have a look at the manual. They normally have a table in them showing how many pictures will fit on different sized cards depending on the resolution used.

    I guess you'd be looking at 400+ on a 2 GB card.

i have learned something from this post thanks , i had a sandisk card in the house and wondered what it was i now know on closer inspection it is an adapter ! so i could maybe put the memory card from my mobile into this and then into my lap top is that correct ?

Morrisons had 4gb Sandisk SDHC cards in for £5 last time I was in there.
