CD-RW problems

Hi Folks
Bought some maxell cd-rw 80 1.2 & 4 speed discs the other day. Went to burn some music and found that the disc was full after burning one track! Cleared the disc and found the same happened when you put one photo on the disc. Now I have read on the front of the disc cover the following "This cd-rw80 complies with orange book part iii standards, however some drives or recording-application software may not be able to handle this high capacity disc".
I am using easy cd creator 5 on windows 2000. Any help would be much appreciated.

It looks like you may be finalising the Cd after a single track which will stop further additions. Don't know the finer points of your software but you will either need to fill the disc at one go and finalise or make it a multisession disc - beware not all Cd players can handle a multi-session disc so try first.0

When I click on properties it says Dell CDRW/DVD SBW242U. It's got a usb connection that goes in to the side of my laptop Browntoa.0
