Does anyone know how we can get out of our membership with this organisation! We have been with them for several years but feel that it is becoming more expensive on a yearly basis due to increased management fees, we can never get into the resorts we want, and we find the service in general is poor ( we have yet to stay in a 5 star accommodation!!). Any advice gratefully received!!

just read your blog,we are in the same boat,just sent a letter to them asking them to take back the time share FREE, waiting for a reply on that one,give up on trying to sell, all scams out there, so i would rather give it away now. have you had a look on the daily mirror blogg site regarding diamond resorts,some good info,and letters to copy wich we have done to start the ball rolling .ie

Due to exceptional changes to our personal circumstances we write to resign our membership of DIAMOND RESORTS EUROPEAN COLLECTIONS LTD.
we are finding it hard to pay maintenance fees plus we are not able to make use of this timeshare anymore.
Please inform me about relinquishing my timeshare back to your company, In addition please send me a copy (not a reference please) of the specific rule and / or regulation which either allows me to proceed or prevents me from discontinuing my involvement with your company , we would also expect a reply within 14 days of receipt of this letter reaching your office. All letters sent and received will be recorded.

p.s .send sign on receipt, keep copy,go on post office tracking check bar code on your recept from post office, copy that too.

Hi, can you tell me if you had any luck with this letter, I wrote direct to them and was just told that I could not get out of it unless we were bankcrupt, a death in the family or a serious illness
