Stuck miles away from home, please help

Our flight from Barcelona to liverpool was cancelled and our only option was to be transferred onto the flight to Bristol with transfer up north promised. Instead we were dropped off in a hotel and we're been collected in an hour. Would anybody be able to give me an idea of prices from both manc and liverpool to hull, don't care how we get there, just need to get home the cheapest way possible. Apparently the coach up north will take 6 hours. Thanks so much.

Did you check your travel insurance policy? You might be covered to get back home and therefore cost wont matter so much....

The airline will cover your costs, surely.

And you say "we're being collected in an hour" collected by the airline service for the arranged transportation of you up North? What's the problem?

We were taken from Bristol to Liverpool. We had a lift sorted for the original flight time to get us back to Hull, with the new flight we were over a day late, so could not get that lift, therefore stranded in Liverpool.

Thanks everyone, eventually got home at 11pm last night, 40 hours after leaving our hotel in Barcelona for the airport :rolleyes:

We would have had to pay for that, and three of us had no money left, the coach to Liverpool was free.
