Need a good free auto-responder

Hi all

first of all thanks to anyone who will take the time to answer my query. You would have saved me so much time and effort! ;)

Here's the scenario:

I have a google sites website. I want to embed a simple 'subscription sign me up now' 'form' on it.

I want their info to collate in a spreadsheet but then I also want them to receive an 'auto response' that includes 5 PDF's attached (these are free ebooks)

I can do a form from google docs and embed that although it doesn't look great with 'powered by google docs' etc right underneath it

I did see this website called freeautobot (dot) com but was wary and don't know if I can somehow work in the PDF's getting automatically emailed back to them.

Can anyone offer me any help?

thanks!
jen

Im not really sure what you are trying to do: please confirm this is your senario:

You have a google Docs form, which your users fill in. (this is stored in a goggle docs spreadsheet)

When your visitors press the submit button, you want to store the info to the docs spreadsheet and then send a confirmation email and 5 pdf's to the address they subscribed with.

If this is what you want its not possible with the current solution you have.

You will either need some custome (php code - do your google sites support this ) or you can try some of the php script sites to find something for free.

I'm thinking maybe it is easier to send a simple auto respond email with a link to another free google site with the pds's listed on there to download for themselves.
