London to Nottingham

Hi,

I need to get a few of us to london from nottingham this friday for a mates birthday and back again. Whats the cheapest way to do it?

Im trying to look at flights but cant find an airline that will do it. Train costs a fortune and national express is horrible and still charges way too much

Any help?

Megabus are offering a one-way fare of around £10 which seems pretty cheap. I don't think there are any flights.
If you're considering flights then perhaps you're not after the cheapest way after all.
Why not hire a car for the weekend? Will cost under £90 (plue petrol) for a Focus or similar.

Have you looked at midlandmainline.com? The cheapest fares are if you book single journeys.

If theres a few of you, the cheapest way must be to drive there. If you don't have your own car, hire one!!

If you are lucky you can still get £6.00 each way.

I think you have to register with them before you can access their timetable/fare.

I have just checked so far : earliest Lon-Nottm time dept.11.30am arrv.13.26 the fare is still £6.00.

21.30 dept 23.32arr Nottm-Lon also £6.00. Get it fast because the offer does not always last long.
