I thought I'd have a play and am looking for one of those new fangled slim camcorders that record on to a SD card, something like the Toshiba Camileo S10
I have no experience of these types of recorders so am looking for advice from forum members, budget is limited so as cheap as possible would be better, so what would you techies suggest?
Thanks

In my opinion, you're wasting your money buying 1080p in consumer camcorders. I'd look at 1080i cameras, which for the same price will have better optics, sound etc. A lot of professional end cameras, such as the sony z1, only have 1080i.
Not authoritative by any means, but my opinion. It's a shame that the equipment manufacturers spend their time chasing the numbers for comparison, while leaving the equally important but unquantifiable factors such as the lens out in the cold.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0 -
I have a Nikon D300 and various lenses for my photography I was just looking for a small, cheap but decent picture quality camcorder to play around with, something with a memory card as I don't have firewire and don't want to mess around with DV tapes or Mine CD's. It doesn't have to be outstanding but something under £100 would be ok.0
