Just logged in to check my payment had gone through ok (that they took on the 31st of December by Direct Debit - not due until the 4th), to be greeted with "YOU HAVE FAILED TO MAKE A MINIMUM PAYMENT." Lots of threats followed in the next paragraph.

Rather angry, I phoned customer service, who were as bemused as I was. The credit is showing applied on the 4th as intended, and the account is in order and "not to worry about it sir".

Er. Sure.

I fired off a secure email asking them what the heck is going on with MyBarclaycard, pointing out that if I set it to "pay in full by direct debit", it is their responsibility to ensure they get what they want, when they want it, and not mine!

Purpose of this thread? Venting..

Oh, and check your account as well and make sure their computers are not trying to do you over too...
