Orange mobile broadband

Bear with me guys, I'm using my mobile phone as a modem ATM....
It's WinXP, with M$ Security Essentials and Windows firewall....
LG KP500 on Orange network.......

I have full signal but the pages are loading like it's a 32k modem..... *Yawn*

Anybody got any clue why it could be so slow????

I dont think the KP500 supports 3g yet alone hsdpa, so you will be connecting at 32kish speeds...

    Yep no 3G = slow
We have an o2 dongle which we use on a laptop sometimes, and if there is no 3G signal, it takes forever to do anything.
If you do get a 3G phone, check your t&c's, as quite a few providers now actively stop you using the phone as a modem.
