Best of luck!£1 / 50p 2011 holiday flight + hotel expenses = £98.50/£600
HSBC 8% 12mth regular savings = £80 out of a maximum remaining allowance of £2500
"3 months' salary" reserve = £00 / £3600 :eek:0 -
Some preschool/nursery's if not most DO take people without qualifications so they can train/work with NVQ and if you look into it you might find they will take volunteers with no qualifications, which is something I'm no looking into...I was just expecting to much to soon.
Not to mention, many sectors have always had opportunities for unqualified candidates, subject to completing their training requirements 'on the job'. Granted, not so many now, in this economic climate, but Anihilator is known for adding inflammatory comments willy-nilly, so ignore.
Yes, you did expect too much too soon...but if you don't ask, you don't get

And it's better to learn these things now rather than later, especially in the field of education where if you want a job, you need to start looking a term ahead. That's not to say there are no jobs with a very quick start, but references and CRBs have to be checked, and these things take time! That even applies for volunteering.wontfallforit wrote: »Yes, you did expect too much too soon...but if you don't ask, you don't get

I volunteer about fifteen hours a week, split between the school and nursery as the course i'm doing is vocational. The only experience I have is being mum to two children, both with additional needs, but because I have an excellent relationship with both establishmanets they're happy to have me - who knows, I might get a job there one day. (fingers crossed).Payment a day challenge: £236.69

Hi Lisa.m not read all the thread so please forgive if this has been said but how about childminding? Also invigilating can be fit around school hours. If you have someone at home you could work nights and sleep in the day while your child is at school.
As you may guess I have done all these! Its very tiring working nights and sometimes I didn't sleep in the day if it was chool hols but I made sure I went to bed early that night and tried to split my nights.
Good luck I hope you get something soon
