I have a feeling that WTC does cover afterschool clubs, as long as the club is registered with Ofsted. Not sure if they cover the cost of afterschool clubs though.
It's all a long time ago now, but I seem to remember getting a teensy weensy bit of something when DS3 was using one which I was running. And I know we were giving our Ofsted number to parents and telling them there was something they could claim!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
How dare all these companies not want to pay someone who is unqualified to do the job to work only when the feel like it.
What is the world coming too?
Who would seriously expect to have to be qualified and flexible to meet the organisations need before they got a job. hmmmmmmmm?0 -
Anihilator is a troll. Ignore.
I do wonder if he has no one to talk to and nothing to do though as he just seems to lie in wait, ready to pounce on each and every new thread! hahahaFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I'm going to have to either find a flexible job or a temp cleaning job until I study in sept.
Ive calmed down alot now!!
CTC does cover breakfast/afterschool clubs, and meant that I could work 8-4 the whole time my daughter was at junior school. It was a great club, fully registered and she loved the club, they picked/dropped off to, so much better for the traffic to have one mini bus taking 12 children, instead of 12 cars! Also meant I have worked up to a position which means now she is secondary school I work in a less rigid area meaning I can do flexi-time.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -

Our cleaner retired just before Christmas, been cleaning our house for 12 years.
I can't find anyone to do it* at the moment. Try the cleaning thing!
(* = Someone I trust or does no charge in a week that I paid for a month!)

Most childcare companies who run these type of clubs will also run holiday clubs, which means I wasn't stuck looking for 'term time' jobs either. Which then meant I was able to look at higher paid jobs!

Some preschool/nursery's if not most DO take people without qualifications so they can train/work with NVQ and if you look into it you might find they will take volunteers with no qualifications, which is something I'm no looking into...I was just expecting to much to soon.0
