Cat flap in a upvc panel??

We are in desperate need of a cat flap, after spending far too much time with the kitchen window open all day and night to allow our fellas free access (and probably leaving ourselves open to buglers too). We have standard UPVC doors which have glass in the top and 2 panels in the bottom. Next to our back door is a slim plain panel and i am wondering if this might be the perfect place so as not to cause too much damage to the doors.

Any ideas which brands are good for UPVC?or how to fit them?Help would be much appreciated as DIY friendly we are not lol!:o

It is recommended that pet doors which require installation into glass should be fitted by a glazier.

The 300, 400, 500 series and the 919 may be fitted with detachable tunnel sections allowing them to be installed anywhere from glass to thick

walls.

Don't ask me about fitting, that's when brothers who are builders come in handy
