15p to download a web page?

I'm looking to add web browsing to my 3 mobile account using my phone as a modem connected to my laptop by Bluetooth. They offer an add-on called Wireless Web 56 which offers 56MB of data for an extra £15 per month. However on their website they say that this will equate to 100 web pages - hence 15p per page.

http://www.three.co.uk/threefiles/pdf/wireless_web_guide56.pdf Adobe Reader needed to view.

Is this for real?

£15 a month? whats the point in that? get broadband, you can get a better offer than that for £10 a month, and three have crap services, hence the reason their service has failed to really take off in the UK

I have broadband at home. This is for when I am away from home.

    Get a vodafone 3g card with their 400mb deal .. About £26 I think for 400mb.

Should be quicker than through the phone I think.

web pages vary in size; this one is 100k at the moment

you could use the Onspeed compression/accelerator program to reduce the data used

also look into a Wind SIM from Italy, with their mega no limit 200 MB (when roaming) option for €20 a month
