Hello - I have an issue with my central locking on my clio - Im pretty sure its a fuse gone funny, will double check when I can get to snowed in car.
I have a question I just cant find the awnser to, do I just buy a new fuse from somewhere like Halfords or do normal petrol stations sell them?
Are they different wattages? Sorry if this is a really daft question.... I just cant find the awnser.
Thanks

You will find the answer in the owner's handbook.0 -
Ive looked on numerous renault forums - I dont think the manual will say stockists?
Im just wondering if the fuses are the ones in Halfords ect and if they sell them in different places.0 -
Keith P means you are going to need the owners handbook to,
1. Find out where your fusebox(es) are.
2. Identify which fuse relates to your problem.
Once identified it's easy to replace, (assuming it IS your fuse thats the problem).
The fuses are colour coded according to ampage, and also have the value written on them, but basically you replace like with like, eg blue for blue etc.
Yes you can buy them in packs at halfords, other motoring stores/factors, even seen them in Poundland.
If you go to a Srappys there are hundreds just lying about in footwells of vehicles.
Good luck.0 -
Super - thank you.0

BTW, some vehicles have spare fuses in the fusebox, stored apart from the other fuses, maybe one of each value.
Check before you go and buy some.0 -
If they are blade or mini fuses then most petrol stations will have them available for something like £1.50 to get you running again

A bulk pack from somewhere like Wilko or a motor factor may be cheaper for long term storage going forwards (I paid £2 for a pack of 50 mixed)0
