Hi,
Is it possible to cancel Payment Protection Insurance on credit cards, If so what is the best company to use for Payment Protection Insurance.
I have looked at protectiononline and i was wondering if this company is any good or should I look elsewhere, any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi,
No i don't have any dealings with this company, I have been searching the internet for payment protection companies but i am unsure which company to use i have looked at the website stipulate on this website but the cover is only available up to £5000.
I currently have £6500 outstanding on my card i was trying to gain some advice to cut my PPI.
any information would be greatly appreciated0 -
How much per £ does your card charge for this cover?
If it is a bank card then the branch will certainly ''help'' you (ie sell you) this cover.
Is there any reason you want it now though - they will investigate your job and medical records just in case you have an inkling of job loss or medical condition.
I hope that the horse has not bolted!0 -
Hi,
thanks for the reply.
The payment protection insurance for the credit card is £50 a month, I was just wondering if i can cancel my payment protection with the credit card and take out policy with another company.
On side note if i applied for credit card to shift some balance to, will i be charged ppi on the new card.0 -
You will be charged PPI on the new card IF you have purchased PPI cover in the first instance.
You have to agree to this it is not automatic.
Before cancelling anything check very carefully what the new policy covers.0 -
Hi Leon
I agree with JonesMUFCforever, check what you would be covered for before accepting and signing anything.
Shop around, here on Martin's site as well:

Good advice from JonesMUFCforever as well.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
