Bathroom extractor fan

I've recently had the house completely rewired and as part of that an extractor fan was installed in the bathroom. A few weeks ago i noticed condensation in the loft space and looked where the ducting from the fan went, to my surprise it just went to the side of the loft and not to a external vent. Should the duct be taken through a external wall? Any advise would be appreciated.

Absolutely. I'd be asking them to come back and finish the job.0

Are you sure the sparks hasn't fitted a soffit vent? In that case the duct from the fan will appear to just be stuck down into the eaves but if he's fitted the vent the duct should be connected to it. You'll be able to see it from outside.
However, if he's just left it lying loose then yes - get him back to finish it.

the ducting should be vented exteranal though a wall, soffit or roof, . if not it will disscharge in loft space. this could course problems with damp pach on the ceiling.0
