my problem would be, your reciept would say the £1.26 so if you took it back because there was a problem thats all you would get there would be no reciept for the extra, i think you did the right thing sticking to your guns well done:T0

You should pay what the goods where priced at, not what it says on the till on calculator, if the goods where priced as uch and came to £1.78 theen thats what they cost, not what the till says.0

In my local co-op, which I use on a regular basis, the bogof on reduced items still applies so I often pay a few pennies for items or even end up with the co-op paying me to take them home.
I'm lucky as there is one member of staff who I always say hello to & if she see's me in the store she'll point out any good bargains in the reduced section.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
