like snapfish but better

Hi,
I've recently discovered snapfish and I'm really enjoying how easy it is to use and how quick it is to upload etc etc. I've been sharing my photos with some friends, and recently one of my friends shared his with me. I thought I could copy his photos to my computer. It seemed to work, but when I opened them on my computer they were tiny little pictures.

My question is - is there a website like snapfish, but one that lets you download photos at full resolution? Preferably free, but I'm prepared to pay. Or, does anyone know if there is a way to do this on snapfish.

I was hoping that this would replace having to make friends cds of photos we want to share. Also, I want to have all my photos online, so that if my computer and my back up hard drive ever get nicked like one of my friends just did, and this wouldn't be any use if you couldn't download them back onto your computer.

Many thanks,
T

You can share photos with Google's Picasa Web Albums or Microsoft's Live Photos.

I use Picasa Web Albums to backup all my photos. You have to pay for storage (you only get 1 GB for free), but it's very cheap.

Picasa is excellent. Buying extra storage is pretty cheap too, $5 per year for 20GB. Even 1TB is only 256GB.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
