downloaded 7-zip but my windows xp wont recognise it to open files

memory cant get FULL, only the harddrive can get full, the more data on the harddrive the slower the computer will get. You need to burn some of the data to DVD if u have a dvd-burner or cd. to clear some of, mainly i would suggest files downloaded, aka movies, music, pictures, games etc. once removed from the computer, empty temporary internet folder, firefox and IE, empty recycle bin, turn off virtual memory and reboot, delete the swapfile thats left pagefile.sys, defrag, turn virtual memory back on new pagefile.sys will be created, and system should be faster.
option 2, buy a bigger hard drive and clone you current drive onto the new drive.
Yes loopy_lass smartdefrag is the same as defraggler. different company but same type of program.0
