i got a message asking to allow an application called download accelerator plus i thought this was from microsoft but i'm not sure if it's ok. i didn't even
know what it was for till i went to download a free song from tesco and it came up. should i get rid of it? also i have something called winamp agent i think one of my sons put this on is this ok?

download accelarator sounds suspicious. but double check you son hasnt isntalled it as well.

winamp is a popular media player software so it should be ok, might be worth checking the spyware/adware thread to check your pc is clean and running in tip top condition

if it was from the Tesco site then it should be fine

but nothing wrong in following the spyware "sticky" at the top of this section

browntoa it didn't come from tesco it was already on the computor from last week .i just realised what it was when i went to download the music .
