PS don't tell anyone - I'm singing along to Take That!!
I am just loving a song I recorded off Jools Holland last week by Anthony David called Red Clay Chronicles. It's about the bad area of Atlanta. Went there in 1995 and enjoyed it but did see the contrasts, much the same in most of the USA.
I could do to go back the US tho, it really cheers me up. Almost my second home in the nicer parts!
Want to goto Chicago, Boston and Dallas - maybe one day. Seen so much already and loved it!
Not wanting to seem like I'm bragging, but I am pretty well travelled - went to the Caribbean one year for Christmas, now that is pretty trippy:DAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Is it far from Bathgate?
It sounds great. We are also pondering about Armadale and Bathgate. We are wanting a reasonable but lower priced place up here as a workplace house and get a nice place down south for our retirement and a bolthole.
We rented a flat up here and had an OK place down south before but hated the location, got bored of it, so sold the place down south to release our capital. We rented a glorious place in South Queensferry with wicked views of the bridge, but wanted to be in the town, so rented a place in Edinburgh, realised we were losing out on buying so bought a place in Edinburgh. We are in West Lothian just now which is OK but the place will be too big once our son leaves home and I'm not happy here, especially in the summer!
I can pick anywhere down south now but where? Price will dictate plus liking the place.
I don't want chavs outside the house tho:eek:
I am from Bathgate originally and going back tomorrow,
I'd sure look into Bathgate, once your in Armadale i can guarantee you'll want out.
Denny is 20 miles drive from Bathgate, chavvs you'll get in all areas unfortunately, they are all over.
It depends what your looking for, budget, property, old/new build, rooms etc.But first, the most asked question:

I hope she doesn't find anyone else yet, just so I can work my feelings out and maybe have the opportunity to take it further.
I just can't see her wanting to be with me.
I'll keep going with her, I care too much to walk away, I just know i'm heading for a big fall.
She seems confused about hers. I don't think it is you, she needs to work herself out.
I shall tell you an instance.
I knew a boy who liked me, when I was 15, really liked me but I only saw him as a friend then. It upset him and he held back about how he felt, so I had no idea but others told me about it. I wasn't interested in him at that time and I did date others, as I only saw it as a friendship, not to hurt him.
A year later I began to appreciate him but I guess he was too upset at me and I wasn't confident enough to say I really liked him then!
Sad really..An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I've relatives in the States - really loved many of the places I visited there over the years. Happy memories. Have a close friend in Boston, so would like to go and see her soon. You know what it's like when you get older though, there never seems to be the time for travelling that there was when you're younger...
Well m'dears, I've definately gotta call it a day. Sweet dreams one and all. Sazxxx4 May 20100 -

We were looking at the new developments round those areas.
The house we are in looks good and for the right family, would be great but it's never been right. We had chavs outside our house a week after we moved in and I was scared. I didn't do anything as I thought it would worsen the situation. They never came back tho'.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Do share your experiences, I love hearing about the States, especially parts I haven't visited.

Chavvs, and you wanna live in Brightons next to a prison!
Brightons is a rough area hun.
I sorta know your area now, Linlithgow, Bathgate, Torphicen, central Falkirk, Stirling (but VERY pricey), if you looked at Brightons then look in Denny, it is sooo central, plus they building a new acadamy, and a further 1800 new homes, quite a small population. But first, the most asked question:
