    CCstar,
    Back to your house-hunt again, i really think you should try Denny/Stirlingshire, it is a little run down at the moment, but next year they are starting a new 18mill development on a new town centre.
    Commutingis very good, 15 mins Falkirk, 15 mins Stirling, 20 mins Glasgow.
    It also has a surrounding countryside and beautiful walks, 10 mins and your also on a glorious trip up the carron valley.
    I should do some research on it if i wer u.

    ;)
    Cheers

    Is it far from Bathgate?

    It sounds great. We are also pondering about Armadale and Bathgate. We are wanting a reasonable but lower priced place up here as a workplace house and get a nice place down south for our retirement and a bolthole.

    We rented a flat up here and had an OK place down south before but hated the location, got bored of it, so sold the place down south to release our capital. We rented a glorious place in South Queensferry with wicked views of the bridge, but wanted to be in the town, so rented a place in Edinburgh, realised we were losing out on buying so bought a place in Edinburgh. We are in West Lothian just now which is OK but the place will be too big once our son leaves home and I'm not happy here, especially in the summer!

    I can pick anywhere down south now but where? Price will dictate plus liking the place.

    I don't want chavs outside the house tho:eek:
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
    I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

    I'm bedding myself......would it be rude to suggest I wish it was 'S'? Well, yeah, as I don't think of that first when I think of her and not sure i'm ready anyway.

    I'm off until tomorrow sometime, have a nice sleep one and all
